   He was my lecturer in the 1970s. He sold Browning to me and I spent a large amount of time in Junior Honours reading as much of B as I could- as well as Arthur Hugh Clough and Swinburne etc. I didn’t answer a single question on any of them in my Finals, but that was good old Real Education!
